Viva Las Vegas!
So the next place the tour took us to was Las Vegas! And it was...interesting. Not to forget over 40 degrees Celsius hot (104° F), since it was in the middle of a desert. As you can see in the pictures, it was a clear blue sky, not a single cloud and we were walking on the streets like on a frying pan for the whole day - I nearly passed out and I think everyone had a sunstroke afterwards. The thing about Vegas is, that most people go during the night, which is reeaally smart. Las Vegas is beautiful during the night, with all the lights on and a pleasant evening warmth. But unfortunately we were only allowed to drive through it with the bus during the night because most of us were underage and apparently it was too racy and indecent for us. Too bad! But we still had a great day there, saw the whole Vegas Strip and also went on the Stratosphere Tower which was definitely a highlight.
Well they say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but I'll make an exception and share some of my memories/ photos with you.
Mission Beach, San Diego
The next day was a short but beautiful day at a beach in San Diego. I would've liked to see the city San Diego too because apparently it's really pretty, but we didn't have enough time for that.

Oh and just by the way, I also got married in Vegas!

LA
Directly after that we went to, what else would it be, Los Angeles! That included visiting a farmers market, doing a step-on guided tour, seeing Hollywood, Beverly Hills, the Rodeo Drive as well as going to the Universal Studios! Pretty cool, but to be honest I kind of expected LA to be prettier and more exciting than it actually was. I guess part of the reason why I expected more, was because the media always makes it seem amazing, gorgeous and like a place where all rich people want to live. But as we drove through the streets of "normal" LA, which doesn't include areas like Beverly Hills and so on, it wasn't as great as I thought it would be, simply because the whole atmosphere wasn't very appealing to me. Personally, I just don't think I would want to live there. Still, it was cool going to a place like Hollywood, with the walk of fame and so on, which you've seen so many times on the media. But again, there were soo many tourists which made it a little bit less enjoyable.
Spot the Hollywood sign! Unfortunately this is the closest we got.

That's it for now, stay tuned for Part 3!
Bye ⍟
