It’s been a while.
That’s mainly because I don’t really have much more information to share. The place and family has been decided, so the next step will begin when my journey has started. Until then we have to take care of so much, there are so many steps to get the visa! Also I graduated and haven’t had time at all.
Now I have summer holidays and a lot of things have crossed my mind. The days passed by so incredibly fast, and it’s just coming closer and closer!

Now I have summer holidays and a lot of things have crossed my mind. The days passed by so incredibly fast, and it’s just coming closer and closer!

38 days left.
I clearly remember it being on 160 days like it was yesterday. I was like “Yeah it’s still 160 days that’s so long. I still have so much time”, and before I knew it, it was 38 days which sounds so unbelievably little.
Of course I really look forward to the departure but on the other side I still struggle. I will miss my family and friends so much.
Was it the right decision? Will my family be okay with the exchange student? Will my friends forget me? How will it be when I come back? Awkward, as if I’m a complete stranger?
But besides all of that, I think I feel ready now. I'll just let it come and have an awesome and unique experience!
