The Iowa State Fair

Hello there!

Welcome to the amazingly amusing Iowa State Fair!
I went to the Iowa State Fair in the capital of Iowa, Des Moines! It was really great and interesting. For those who can't imagine what a State Fair is at all, here is an explanation:

The internationally acclaimed Iowa State Fair is the single largest event in the state of Iowa and one of the oldest and largest agricultural and industrial expositions in the country. Annually attracting more than a million people from all over the world, the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines is Iowa’s great celebration, a salute to the state’s best in agriculture, industry, entertainment and achievement. It is the true heartbeat of the Midwest, unequaled and unduplicated.“

So basically the Fair is a place where all farmers and spectators of Iowa gather, show off their oversized animals, food, flowers and all that stuff, have several competitions, have all kinds of shows, have food on sticks, and just enjoy themselves! And that's what we did too. Enjoying ourselves I mean.

We went on this cool thing called the Skyglider Skyfair:

We went to see the butter cow:

Is this heaven? No it's Iowa
That's a famous line here in Iowa, it's from the movie "Field of Dreams" which was shot in Iowa 1989. Also made out of butter.

We looked at these huge two farmers:

We looked at animals in their best shape:

And we looked at a bunch of other things:
