Halloween

Hello there!

Happy Halloween everyone.
So it's pretty well known that Halloween in America is huge. House get decorated, everyone dresses up, children go trick or treating, teens have party's, and haunted houses are a popular place to go.
I guess because we don't celebrate it that much in Germany I had my hopes up a little bit too high. I was hoping for a little party or just a fun gathering but it turned out to be quite simple. Me and Eleonora went Trick or Treating, and at quarter to eight we found out that it ends at eight, so we dressed up super quick and literary ran down the streets. We still got bunch of candy because the families were just giving us all their rest. And without offending anyone, I do have to say that German candy is much better than American candy. Have you ever tried Tootsie roll? It's disgusting haha!

Then we went to a Haunted House.
The day after Halloween, me, my host sister and a few friends of her went to a Haunted House called Circles of Ash. And again, I probably had my hopes up too high. I was hoping for it to be really scary, because the ones I've been to in Germany were just incredibly lame. You know it's all not real. And I have to say, this one wasn't bad, it had some nice 3D neon effects, but would I call it scary? Not really. To find a truly scary one you'd probably have to go to a big city, and you'd probably have to pay five times the price we paid for that one.

Still, it was a fun experience.
Yep. That said, here are some pictures.

Stay tuned!

Bye
