Finally
I have been able to go to Chicago.
I
feel like every other exchange student in Iowa has already been
there, and now it was finally my turn. My awesome host sister has a
friend that lives in the Chicago Suburbs so we decided to do a mini
road trip to visit her. We were there three days and on the 30th we spent
the whole day in Chicago. We had donuts from a food truck, went on
the Willis Tower, saw the Bean, planned to go to the Art institute,
decided not to, went to the public library, had lunch at the Pick Me
Up Café in Boystown (Chicago's gay neighborhood), and finally went
to see the Blue Man Group. Hilarious show and crazy percussion.
During the show my host sister even got picked as the audience
volunteer and was on the stage for about 10 minutes. It was just great.
Here are just a few of my 500 photos. As usual, taken with my Nikon D3200, all rights reserved.

Happy New Year.
Oh and also Happy New Year! I don't think there will be a post about New Year's, just for a few reasons, but I had a lot of fun and I can't believe that half of the year is already over. I hope the new year will be filled with joy, for all of you reading my little blog.
